I live in the middle of the woods in rural Missouri w/ my lovely wife Gina and our two weimaraners, Eins and Dreist.
I believe strongly that happiness and well-being are strongly associated with your living environment. I find that nature is inspiring, beautiful, and very cohesive with my lifestyle.
When I moved out of my parents home at age 18, I couldn't really find furniture that I desired, so I started creating my own. Most of my early creations came out of necessity, I even welded up a set of bushes for the front lawn of my first home because I couldn't find any bushes that were aesthetically pleasing to me.
I can't really say that I have one, I like bright colors as well as most organic colors found in the natural environment. I'm not a big fan of pastels at the moment.

Of course not, I love the solitude of being alone or with my family in nature, though we do like to inject ourselves into the urban environment whenever we feel the need to interact with large groups of people and tall buildings. My wife and I lived in a large city for a while, the convenience of easy access to everything is nice but I have never really been comfortable with a noise filled city and never really fascinated by those bright city lights.
People will continue to create "stuff". The world is full of throw away, cheaply built furniture that is designed to last only a few years and created with substandard materials and methods. What I try to do is ensure that the things I create are produced as sustainable products. I design high quality furniture that will last for generations and is created with environmental protection in mind. I use mainly aluminum, which is a highly sustainable and easily recyclable material. The powder coating process I use is also much more environmentally friendly when compared to traditional solvent based paints.
